Projects, Outreach and Goals
This organization will support the underfunded programs at the new "Shannon Staub" library on an ongoing basis. In general, libraries are not fully funded for programs and equipment needed for their community classes, events and student labs. In the stort term, our goal is to provide 60-80% of the funding requests from the library we support.
We will begin to provide financial and volunteer aid to the new library and its community programs once the library opens. The long-term goal is to support the library and fulfill all the needs for children such as reading, lunches and summer events. These activities will encourage individuals and families to use the library and encourage all to see the library not only as a resource for books, but as a pathway to the limitless possibilities outside the library walls.
